Seidel City presents Sentinels, a solo exhibition of new works by Daniel Strawn, set within the newly reimagined Tin Shed Gallery.

Sentinels: Veils of Disclosure and Angles of Perception features thirteen panels that explore the guardians and watchers depicted in ancient petroglyphs from around the world. In these works, Strawn reinterprets these sentinels as emerging katchinas—figures appearing through the veils that have long obscured human understanding.

The exhibition invites viewers to experience shifting angles of perception, reflecting the evolution of awareness along the human journey. Strawn’s practice engages with unseen worlds and the movement of force, emphasizing the dynamic over the static, the energetic over the material.

Opening Reception: Saturday, October 11th, 5:00-9:30pm
